A R Rahman, revered as the 'Mozart of Madras' is no new to stage shows. However, the musician for the first time in his career endured a horrific night on September 10th. The concert arranged in Adityaram Palace in Chennai on September 10th resulted in calamity. Women were harassed, a stampede followed and mostly, people who purchased tickets( even diamond tickets) were denied entry citing overcrowding. According to details, more than 45,000 people have stormed into the event. Social media is now all against Rahman, where some accused the musician as a 'scamster' who cares less about people's grievances but has an eye only for money.

ACTC Events was in charge of organizing the event, and from the mishap that took place in the stadium, it should be said that they made a true mess of things. Tambaram Police has initiated an inquiry into the issue and will also question ACTC events for the poor organization of the event and the resulting chaos.

Many film stars’ musicians and technicians came in support of Rahman and asked people to not point fingers at the musician on surmises. Rahman’s daughters Raheema and Khatija had to come forefront in support of their father as they shared an infographic detailing Rahman's past concerts and how the proceeds were used for charitable purposes including flood relief and COVID-19.

A R Rahman has apologized for the inept organizing of the event.

Woke up to having such a weight in my heart. The unsafe feeling i have today is haunting me. One of the people who groped me,literally looked into my eyes when I just asked him for the way and move.
I'm exhausted.#marakumanenjam#ARRConcert@actcevents @arrahman pic.twitter.com/58SXFOP5kJ
