CHENNAI: Tamil actors Vishal, Dhanush, Simbhu, and Atharvaa have been banned by the Tamil Film Producers Association. The Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) has informed that the ban (red card) was issued on the actors due to their misconduct with the producers. The actors cannot work in Tamil films at present. Meanwhile, Vishal's new film Mark Anthony, which releases today, and Dhanush's Captain Miller, which will release in December, will not be subject to the action.

The allegation against Vishal failed to account for the money of the association when he was the president of the producers' association. The complaint against Dhanush is that he did not come to the shooting after completing 75 percent of the shooting. A dispute with producer Michael Rayappan led to a red card for Simbhu, while Atharvaa got the red card following Mathiyazhaka's complaint.
