HYDERABAD: Hyderabad police have issued a notice against the makers of Telugu film Baby alleging that the film has scenes that promote the use of drugs. The notice asks the producers to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Bureau.

Along with the film's producer Srinivas Kumar Naidu, director Sai Rajesh Neelam, actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya and production house Mass Movie Makers have also been issued notices by the police. City Police Commissioner C V Anand said that films play an important role in influencing society and filmmakers have a responsibility not to include any scenes that have a wrong influence. Top police officers also clarified that filmmakers should have the right attitude.

On the other hand, the film, which talks about the absurd things people do in the name of love, hit theatres on July 14th. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya play the lead roles in the film. Baby's music is composed by Vijay Bulganin.
