THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Higher Education Council has been reconstituted with former VC Prof Rajan Gurukkal of MG University as Vice Chairman and former PVC Dr Rajan Varughese as Member Secretary. The term is 4 years. Minister R Bindu is the chairperson of the Council.

Dr. Saji Gopinath (Digital University VC), Dr. Sabu Thomas (Former VC, MG University), Dr. K K Damodaran, (Daya, Vengad, Malappuram), Dr. MS Rajashree (Director of Technical Education), Paul V. Karanthanam (Teacher, Pala St. Thomas College) and Dr. PP Ajayakumar (Senior Professor, Center for Distance Education, University of Kerala) are the executive committee member. Higher Education Department Principal Secretary is the ex-officio member.
