KOZHIKODE: All educational institutions in Kozhikode district have been ordered to shift their classes to online in the wake of the Nipah outbreak. Only online classes in the district will be allowed till further notice. Students should not be admitted to educational institutions. It was decided to tighten the restrictions in the Nipah review meeting held today. The new decision applies to all educational institutions.
The order applies to tuition centres and coaching centres. Students are also not required to reach Anganwadis and Madrasas. Meanwhile, public examination dates will remain unchanged. The District Collector informed that the steps will be taken as soon as the government gets the instructions regarding changing the exams in the district.
