NEW DELHI: Opposition has been raised within the CPM on the organization of the coordination committee of the INDIA Alliance. It is reported that opposition has been raised in PB regarding the representation of CPM in the 14-member coordination committee. At present, the CPM representative has not been nominated to the coordination committee. It is reported that the disagreement of the Kerala leadership is behind this.
The Kerala leadership objected to working with the committee of which KC Venugopal is a member. PB also opposed the formation of other committees that would affect the functioning of the INDIA alliance.
At the same time, Congress leader Kamal Nath announced the other day that the opposition alliance 'INDIA' has canceled the rally scheduled in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in protest against the policies of the central government. Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala informed that it was decided to hold a joint rally in October at the first meeting of the 'INDIA ' coordination committee held at the residence of NCP President Sharad Pawar.
