SRINAGAR: Indian forces continue their efforts to drive out the terrorists from the dense forests of Gadol in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag for the sixth day. During the 120-hour encounter, the army recovered the charred body of a terrorist. According to the pattern of the clothes, the army concluded that the body belonged to the terrorist.

Earlier this morning, the search was resumed to find the terrorists. Efforts are on to recover the body of another soldier identified by a drone. A dead body of a terrorist was also found with the drone. The fighting between the forces and the terrorists continued for several hours yesterday, but it is reported that there has been no fresh firing today. Hundreds of Indian troops, including para commandos, are on the battlefield. The Indian Army is giving a strong response to the firing by the terrorists under the cover of thick forests.
