THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dakshin Railway has announced the stops and train numbers for the second Vande Bharat train allocated to Kerala. The train with numbers 20631-20632 will run between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram and vice versa, as the Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram and Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat service. This train which passes through Alappuzha, will operate six days a week. However, please note that the train will not run to Kasaragod on Mondays and Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesdays.

The train departing from Thiruvananthapuram at 4.05 pm will make stops at the following stations: Kollam (16.53), Alappuzha (17.53), Ernakulam Junction (18.35), Thrissur (19.40), Shornur (20.15), Tirur (20.52), Kozhikode (21.23), Kannur (22.24) and finally Kasaragod (23.58).

On the other hand, the train departs from Kasaragod at 7:55 am and makes stops at the following stations: Kannur (07.55), Kozhikode (8.57), Tirur (09.22), Shornur (09.58), Thrissur (10.38), Ernakulam (11.45), Alappuzha (12.32), Kollam (13.40). It is scheduled to cross and reach Thiruvananthapuram around 03.05 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially dedicate the second Vande Bharat train to the nation as a special service on Sunday, September 24th.
