SIVAGIRI: Minister Saji Cherian said that the government will implement action plans to convey the message of Asia's first interfaith conference led by Sree Narayana Gurudevan to the people. He was inaugurating the meeting and fast at Sivagiri Math on the occasion of the 96th Mahasamadhi Day.

Discussions have been held about this as per the instructions of the Chief Minister. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Sarvamatha Sammelanam(All Religion Conference), study classes and conventions will be held in all districts culminating in March 2024 in Aluva. Gurudeva presented to the world a great vision of seeing all religions as one. It is not enough for only the followers of Gurudeva to know what he taught the community. The entire Kerala society, the country and the world should know about it, Saji Cherian said.

Minister Veena George, who was the chief guest, said that the world has received a timeless vision through Gurudeva. Gurudeva gave the vision of how to act in personal life, family life and social and political life. Gurudev taught cleanliness to be of great importance. Untouchability and caste supremacy still exist in human minds. This should be resisted and stopped.

Dharmasangham Trust President Swami Satchidananda presided. Treasurer Swami Saradananda and board member Swami Sookshmananda gave the word of blessing. Former Mizoram Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan, Chandi Oommen MLA, Varkala Kahar, Varkala Municipality Chairman KM Laji and Block Panchayat President Smita Sundaresan spoke. Dharmasangham Trust General Secretary Swami Subhangananda gave the welcome speech and Swami Bodhi Tirtha gave the vote of thanks.
