ALAPPUZHA: A long ensuing family dispute unraveled in full, as a woman and her sister-in-law fought each other physically in front of Cherthala court. The family came to Cherthala court in connection with the divorce case but the difference soon morphed into a full-scale fight.

Interestingly, it is the fourth time that the in-laws have exchanged physical blows in front of the court premises. The recent incident happened just a few days back. Both slapped each other in the face and grabbed each other's hair. It is learned that the dispute aggravated over the custody of a child.

The young woman and her husband were married after being in love for many years. They have two children aged four and seven. However recently, there was a bitter talk between the husband and his father-in-law which started the issue. This turned the mainspring for the couple deciding to split. The husband has now sought custody of the child which turned into a fight in court premises.
