KOCHI: In a shocking incident, a man hacked his neighbour to death following a dispute. The incident took place in Koothattukulam. The deceased is Piravom Thirumarady native Soni. Police have taken Soni's neighbour Mahesh into custody in the incident.

The incident took place on Monday night. According to sources, Mahesh called Soni out of the house and attacked him. Although neighbours rushed Soni to the hospital with stab wounds on his head and chest, his life could not be saved. Locals said that there was an argument between Soni and Mahesh in the morning.
