THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Deepu Ravi, Chief Editor of Kerala Kaumudi, said that private entrepreneurs have contributed immensely to India reaching the achievement of being the fifth economic power in the world, even when the countries of the world were in recession after Covid. He was delivering the introductory speech at the Kerala Kaumudi Excellence Award distribution ceremony held at Mascot Hotel.

Although only 500 companies are the powerhouses of change in the country's business sector, a large percentage of this is contributed by the medium-sized enterprises sector. However, there is a situation where this is not accepted. That is why Kerala Kaumudi decided to honour their achievements with excellence awards. This honour is not only for their contributions to the industry but also for their ethical actions.

A new chapter has opened for India, which is growing rapidly under the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from making infrastructure development world-class under Modi, India has also become an international focal point. The recently concluded G20 summit is proof of this.

Kerala Kaumudi is a 112-year-old newspaper. Kerala Kaumudi, which has always progressed through the visions of Sree Narayana Gurudeva, is loudly declaring that it will continue on the same path in the future. In 2011, when Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh inaugurated the 100th anniversary of Kerala Kaumudi, he said that the completion of 100 years of a newspaper like Kerala Kaumudi also clarified the role of that newspaper in nation-building. He said that India has become an important global power when it has reached the 21st century from the era of freedom struggle.
