THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The health department has handed over the complaint lodged by Malappuram native Haridasan to the police. City Police Commissioner CH Nagaraju said that the police received the complaint against Minister Veena George's personal assistant Akhil P Mathew on Wednesday and a detailed investigation will be conducted. Haridasan's statement may be recorded today. The complaint has not yet been forwarded to the Cantonment Police.

However, the Cantonment Police had registered a case of fraud the other day on the complaint of Akhil P. Mathew. A team headed by SI went to Malappuram to record the statement of the complainant.

In his complaint, Akhil Mathew alleged that someone else committed fraud and took money by posing as him. The commissioner said that the police received Akhil Mathew's complaint on September 26th and the job fraud is being investigated.

"The police will take strong action against the culprits. If any document was forged, we will find it. After recording Haridasan's statement, the truth will be found through scientific investigation. We will get a true picture of the incident by Friday," CH Nagaraju said.
