THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kovalam police arrested six people who entered a private restaurant in Kovalam and attacked the owner, a woman. On September 26th, a group of six members got drunk and started making noise near the restaurant at around 10 p.m. When the hotel owner asked them to move away, the group barged into the restaurant and brutally attacked her and restaurant employee Anil.

The arrested people are Malik (36), Manoj (29), Vipin (24), Venu (49), Viji (41) and Bipinkumar (34). A team consisting of SHO Bijoy, SIs Anish, Anil, ASI Munir, CPO Shaiju, Sudhir, and Selvan arrested the accused. The accused were produced in the court and remanded.
