MUTHALAMADA: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy met a tragic end after a roadside wall fell on him. The deceased has been identified as Vedav, son of Wilson and Geethu, of Kadamkurissi in Muthalamada. The wall collapsed on the child whil he was going to the milk society with grandfather Velayudham.

The child with severe head injuries was taken to a private hospital in Kollengode but could not be saved. The locals says the 15-year-old wall was in a weak condition. Vedav's sister: Veda.
