CHANDIGARH: Nearly hundreds of items were removed from the stomach of a 40-year-old man who was admitted to hospital after he complained of severe stomach ache and fever. The incident happened in a hospital in Moga, Punjab. The 40-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he experienced vomiting, stomach ache and fever. As his stomach ache did not subside, the doctors decided to conduct an X-ray scan to determine the cause of the pain.

Upon checking the result of the X-ray scan, the doctors were shocked to find hundreds of items in the man's stomach. Following this, the items were removed from the man's body through a surgery that lasted for three hours. The items that were removed from the man's stomach include earphones, washers, nuts and bolts, wire cables, rakhis, lockets, buttons, wrappers, hair clips, a marble piece, safety pins, etc. The man had been suffering from stomach-related issues for the last 2 years. Doctors said that although the items were removed from his stomach, the condition of the man was not stable. According to the doctors, the items were inside his stomach for a long time and that has caused other health issues.

The man's family did not know that he had been eating these items. The family members said that he was suffering from mental illnesses. They said that he complained of severe stomach ache and was unable to sleep, for days before he was admitted to the hospital. Although he was taken to various hospitals before, no doctors were able to find the cause behind the stomach ache.
