KOTTAYAM: The son, accused in the case of kicking his own mother to death during a family quarrel, was found dead after being released on bail. Auto driver Biju (52), son of Kochukunj, a native of Panachikkad, died by hanging. The body was found hanging on Udikkal Bridge near Vakathanam Church. It is concluded that he jumped from the bridge and hanged himself.

On January 1, 2022, Biju kicked and killed his mother, Sati (80). Biju killed Sati by kicking her on the chest as she fell to the ground during the fight. Biju took his mother to the hospital on the pretext that she fell and got injured. However, after the death of Sati, when the body was examined, it was clear that the death was caused by a kick on the chest. Biju who was arrested after this, was released on bail recently.
