THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A fisherman died after a fishing boat overturned at Muthalappozhi in the district. The dead has been identified as Noufal of Puthucurichy. The accident happened Thursday morning when others including Noufal ventured into the sea for fishing.

The boat got lifted higher in the strong current. At this time Naufal's head hit the boat. He was taken to the hospital but his life could not be saved.
