People like to experiment videos and reels seen on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram. Netizens mostly imitate videos of beauty care, science experiment and cooking. However, they don't think about whether all these are imitable or dangerous. A famous YouTuber has sought treatment after imitating such an experiment.

American YouTuber, rapper and online streamer IShowSpeed (Darren Jason Watkins Jr) experimented with 'Elephant Toothpaste' at his home which turned out to be a complete failure. 18-year-old YouTuber IShowSpeed has 20.5 million subscribers. All the videos shared by him get millions of views and likes. The video of doing the IShowSpeed challenge has been shared on the YouTube channel 'Live Speedy'.

The Elephant Toothpaste Experiment
'Elephant Toothpaste' is an experiment with hydrogen peroxide, yeast and a solution of water and soap. When these three combine, a chemical reaction takes place and large amounts of oxygen molecules are released. The released oxygen molecules mix with the solution to form a foam known as ‘elephant toothpaste’. The experiment was named the Elephant Toothpaste because it looked like a toothpaste coming out of a large tube and because of the humorous argument that only an elephant could use such a large paste.

The visuals show IShowSpeed conducting the experiment in his own room, where there is a huge puff of smoke and then saying that he cannot breathe. He is seen covering his face and leaving the room immediately. A fire alarm is heard behind the commotion.

Later, the YouTuber's stream moderator shared an online message saying that he was being treated by firefighters and was being given oxygen. He also said that currently the YouTuber has no health problems.
