THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An altercation broke out between the principal of the nursing college and SFI members. According to reports, SFI members approached the principal demanding increased security measures and CCTV installation in the women's hostel of the college. During this discussion, a heated argument ensued.

"There's no need to create a commotion. Who are you to instruct me on installing cameras on my campus? I cannot simply ignore it when four people collectively confront me. Are four fat people attempting to attack me? I will defend myself." said the principal. "I am not obligated to comply with every directive you issue just because I work in a government institution," the principal continued. College authorities claim that the students were the ones who initiated the confrontation.
