THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran and opposition leader V D Satheesan faced criticism from Congress working committee member AK Antony during a joint meeting of KPCC office bearers and DCC presidents. Both of them hold leadership positions within the organization and are expected to work together without differences of opinion. Antony also noted that Sunil Kanugolu, who is leading the election efforts observed that despite a prevailing anti-governance sentiment against the government there hasn't been sufficient party activity to capitalize on it.
Antony commenced his speech by emphasizing that the party's reorganization should be entrusted to people who are truly deserving. It's not favourable for party leaders to engage in open conflict with each other especially when they are expected to foster unity within the party. He urged everyone to be mindful that the public is watching the KPCC President and the Leader of the Opposition, both of whom are tasked with promoting unity within the party.
