PATHANAMTHITTA: Delhi Police's investigation in Kerala as well in the case against NewsClick. Delhi Police visited the house of Anusha Paul, a former employee of NewsClick and a native of Kodumon, Pathanamthitta. It is reported that the police seized a mobile phone and a laptop from here.

According to the police, Anusha Paul is a former videographer of NewsClick. Mobile phone and laptop were seized after taking her statement. She settled in Pathanamthitta recently. Delhi Police has not disclosed any further details about the raid.

Meanwhile, it has been reported in the FIR against Prabir Purkayastha, the founder of NewsClick, who was arrested in the UAPA case, that has attempted to sabotage the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. According to Delhi Police, Gautam Navlakha, a shareholder of NewsClick, has a relationship with Ghulam Nabi Bhai, an agent of Pakistan's spy agency. These matters are clarified in the FIR registered by Delhi Police Special Cell against Prabir Purkayastha and others. The FIR mentions that NewsClick, in association with People's Alliance for Democracy and Secularism, tried to subvert the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and make an impression that Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh are not part of India. The Special Cell pointed out that this is an act against the unity and integrity of India.
