THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: UDF will besiege the secretariat on October 18th, demanding that the crisis in the ration distribution sector be resolved and the Chief Minister who is leading the corrupt administration resign. UDF Convener MM Hassan announced in a press conference that half a lakh activists from all districts will participate in the blockade which is being held as part of the program 'Ration Shop to Secretariat Blockade'.
Demands such as investigation into the allegations of AI camera scam, bribery etc., and immediate payment of commission dues of 48 crores to be paid to ration debtors in respect of free kits distributed during the Covid period will also be raised.
After the public meetings conducted by the Chief Minister and ministers to bring the programs of the government to the people, the UDF will organize public meetings in all 140 assembly constituencies. Through this, the purpose is to convey the real image of Kerala to the people.
A meeting of UDF collaborators will be convened in Thiruvananthapuram on October 16. The rally was held under the slogan of protecting investors and rooting out robbers. The Sahakari Sangam is being organized under the leadership of the Cooperative Protection Forum formed by Karakulam Krishnapilla (Congress) Chairman, Abdul Hameed MLA (Muslim League) and MP Saju (CMP) as conveners. UDF collaborators will participate in seminars and meetings organized by the Cooperation Department.
