HANGZHOU: With three gold medals in Men's Badminton Doubles, Men's Cricket, and Men's Kabaddi events, India's campaign at the Asian Games 2023 has come to an end. India finished its campaign with a record 107 medals which includes 28 golds, 28 silvers, and 41 bronze medals. In the overall tall, India has finished in the fourth position behind China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
In the badminton final, India's Satwik Sairaj-Chirag Shetty pair beat South Korea 21-18, 21-16. In men's cricket, India won the gold on the basis of its superior rankings after the final was abandoned due to rain. In women's Kabaddi, India defeated Chinese Taipei by 26-24. Deepak Poonia won the silver medal in men's 86kg freestyle wrestling. India also won silver medals in men's and women's chess.
