DHARAMSALA: Afghanistan's first match in this year's ODI Cricket World Cup was against Bangladesh on Saturday. The Afghan army could not perform well in batting and bowling as Shakib Al Hasan's scintillating performance led the Bangladesh team to a six-wicket win.

But another incident that took place at the stadium in Dharamsala during the match is now garnering news attention. There were crowd chants aimed at Naveen Ul-Haq who was standing near the boundary at long-on. The crowd were chanting 'Kohli..Kohli...' to which the player didn't respond.

In the last IPL season, Naveen, who played for Lucknow Super Giants, and Kohli, who played for Bengaluru, had a face off during and after the match. Then there was a lot of criticism against Naveen through social media back then. The Indian fans' reaction may well be connected to this incident.
