The weather in Kerala has seen a massive shift as the incessant rains are long gone while sweltering heat days have taken charge. For the past two days, most parts of Kerala including the capital city recorded high temperatures that surpassed 32 degrees Celsius. But the summer days are not here to stay as learned from the latest IMD report. Various districts of Kerala will see heavy rains for the next five days. Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad districts have been placed on yellow alert for Monday.
According to weather analytics, strong rains with lightning will continue in Kerala until October 12. Most of the districts in Kerala are likely to receive light rainfall any time after 5:00 pm on Sunday. The last report from IMD came at 2:15 pm on Sunday.
