TEL AVIV: Reports said that more than 1,100 people have been killed in the Israel-Hamas war that began on Saturday. People on both sides and citizens of other countries have lost their lives in the war.
International media reported that three American citizens have been killed in Hamas attack. Meantime, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that many American citizens were killed. He informed that efforts are being made to identify those killed and missing in Israel.
Nepal said about 10 of its students have been killed in Israel. French Foreign Ministry also confirmed that a French national has been killed. The Government of Canada also reported that one Canadian citizen was killed and two others were missing.
Mexico, Belarus and Thailand have also confirmed people from the country have been captured or killed. Hundreds of citizens gathered at a police station in Israel seeking information about their missing relatives.
Meanwhile, the United States has announced that it will provide military and financial aid to Israel. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said additional financial aid would be announced soon. Warships and planes will be sent to Israel. Meanwhile, many people held a demonstration in Times Square with flags in favour of Palestine.
About 700 people have been killed in Israel. The Palestinian Ministry of Health also informed that 424 people were killed. On Saturday, the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas unexpectedly entered Israel, took hostages, including soldiers, and launched a heavy rocket attack.
5000 rockets were launched in Israel within minutes. Hamas was infiltrating not only by land and sea, but also by air using para-gliders. They started shooting and killing everyone they saw.
