Meanwhile, a similarly brutal incident happened in Delhi last January. During New Year celebrations, a 23-year-old woman was struck by a car and dragged along the road for several kilometres. This accident occurred around 3 am.

The car driven by an intoxicated youth collided with the two-wheeler the woman was riding. Eyewitnesses revealed that the woman who fell from the scooter was dragged for kilometres during the accident. Tragically, the woman lost her life on the spot due to the impact. Her clothing became entangled with the car and she was dragged for eight kilometres.

Several people alerted the police upon noticing the car carrying the deceased body. Eventually, after stopping the car with the group of individuals who were under the influence of alcohol, the body of the young woman was found in a severely damaged state. Subsequently, the police arrested the five individuals in the car.
