ADOOR: Two Malayalee men died in a car accident in Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border Krishnagiri. Mannady Thazhathu native retired army officer Suresh's son Sandeep (25) and Mannady Thazhathu resident Rasheed's son Aman R Bawa (23) are the ones who died. Three people from Sasthamcotta, Vadakkadathukavu and Thiruvananthapuram who were with them were seriously injured. The accident happened yesterday morning.
Sandeep was running an organization called Atharva Educational and Charitable Trust which recruits students for educational institutes. He was going to Bangalore for educational purposes. The accident occurred when the Bolero car driven by Sandeep rammed into the truck that was passing in front of it. Sandeep falling asleep is believed to be the reason for the accident. The car was completely destroyed.
The rescue operation was carried out by the local people who heard the sound of the accident and the police who came to know about it. The car was broken into and the people inside were taken out and taken to the Krishnagiri Government Medical College Hospital, but Sandeep and Aman were dead. Two injured persons were shifted to Medical College Hospital, Bangalore. Sandeep and Aman were identified after the footage of the accident car was circulated on social media. Both were active workers of Mannadi Veluthampi Club. The bodies will be brought home today and cremated.
