TEL AVIV: 70 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza after Israel's ultimatum for residents of northern Gaza and Gaza City to leave within twenty-four hours ahead of a ground attack. The attack took place on a group who were fleeing with their lives in cars from their home country. The total number of people killed in Gaza has exceeded 1900. More than 11 lakh people were demanded to vacate within 24 hours. The order is to move beyond forty kilometres. Egypt has closed its border due to fears of an influx of refugees.

Hamas has claimed that 70 people were killed in the Israeli attack. Hamas has also accused Israel of attacking those who flee. The United States also responded that it is negotiating to define safe zones in Gaza. Lebanon's governing partner, Hezbollah, has made it clear that it will join the war at the appropriate time. Meanwhile, the second Operation Ajay flight with Indians from Israel will reach Delhi today.

Israel announced military action along the Gaza border. The military operation was to find weapons and get information about the hostages. Palestine called on the UN to intervene urgently to de-escalate the conflict.
