AHMEDABAD: India extends their winning run against bitter rivals Pakistan in the 50 over World Cup match held here on Saturday. In a one sided match, Pakistan was bowled out for 191.

After being put in to bat first, Pakistan struggled to cope up with Bumrah’s intelligent variations and Kuldeep Yadav’s accurate wrist-spin fetching them figures of 2-19 and 2-35 respectively. Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja also took two scalps each as India bowled out Pakistan for just 191 in 42.5 overs.

In response, skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front by scoring 86 in 63 balls. Shubman Gill, who made his first appearance in the ODI World Cup, scored some scintillating hits before losing his wicket. India reached their target of 192 in 30 overs with 7 wickets remaining.
