THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister V Muraleedharan said that the Indian Embassy is ready to take action to bring Indians who want to return from Israel. Speaking to the media in Thiruvananthapuram, the Union Minister said that the Centre is planning to introduce more flights to bring back the Indians from Israel.

"The embassy is monitoring the situation. Actions are being taken according to the conflict possibilities and the needs of the returnees. 39 Malayalees from Israel have returned in the two groups so far. Those having relatives or friends in Israel can inform the embassy of any need. Those who went to Israel as tourists and students are more willing to come back," Muraleedharan said.

The first flight from Israel with 212 Indians, including seven Malayalis, reached Delhi at six o'clock yesterday morning. Five of the Malayalis were flown to Kochi at the expense of the state government. Two people came at their own expense. Most of those who arrived yesterday were students. They said many people, including students, were waiting at the Tel Aviv airport.
