TEL AVIV: Israel has claimed that it has killed two Hamas commanders in a drone strike. Ali Qadi, the head of the commando force that planned the attack by Hamas, and Abu Murad, the mastermind behind the missile and rocket attacks, were killed. According to the Israeli army, the two were killed in an airstrike carried over Hamas headquarters in Gaza City. However, Hamas is yet to confirm this. Ali, who was jailed in 2005 for kidnapping and killing Israeli citizens, was released to Gaza in 2011.

Meanwhile, the exodus of people from northern Gaza continues. Several such groups were attacked by Israel. Many families, including children, were killed. Reports are claiming that Hamas, which is using people as human shields, is destroying roads to prevent mass exodus.

Reuters video editor Issam Abdallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike near the town of Aalma El Chaeb in southern Lebanon. Two people each from Reuters, AFP and Al Jazeera were injured. Israel said that the attack was carried out to kill those who tried to infiltrate through Lebanon. The Israeli army, which began shelling from the border, entered Gaza to find the hostages. 120 people are being held hostage by Hamas. At the same time, Hamas is still firing rockets into Israel.

So far, 2215 people, including 724 children, have been killed in Gaza. 9000 people were injured. In Israel, where 1,300 people were killed, the death toll did not rise significantly. 3400 people were injured.

Dead bodies in ice cream trucks
Although Israel has extended the evacuation deadline by six hours, hundreds of patients and staff remain helpless in hospitals. The bodies are being shifted outside the hospital to refrigerated trucks of ice cream companies. Hospitals have been filled with injured people. Although the World Health Organization and the United Nations have demanded that rescue efforts be allowed, Israel has not given a positive reply. Several refugees are camped at the border of Egypt. However, Egypt is not ready to accept them. The US has asked Egypt to let foreigners and dual nationals. Egyptian trucks are waiting with medicine and food for Gaza. However, they are unable to move into Gaza due to the Israeli blockade.
