DUBAI: There are many people trying to get a job after completing their graduation. Getting a job without any experience is a big task nowadays. However, those coming to UAE do not have to struggle much again to find a job. A new start-up initiative has come up for the youth to help them find jobs in local and international companies in the country.

The UAE-based Oliv platform opens job opportunities for the youth. Oliv helps youth below 30 years to find employment in the first step. Oliv will help you find jobs and internships in various organizations in the Gulf region.

The company's Chief Business Officer Adeel Abid said that all final year graduate students and those with two or three years of experience can find employment using the Olive platform.

‘The company mainly focuses on providing employment to youths below 30 years of age. Many international companies like Careem, Sephora and Sony are associated with us. Our platform has 500,000 candidates in its data base. 10,000 employers in Gulf countries including UAE and Saudi Arabia are also registered on the website. Sephora, Carem, Samsung, Canon, Johnson's and Bose are listed on the company's website,' said Adeel Abid.

There are no special charges for employers registered on this platform. However, they have access to the company's specialist team for talent headhunting. An annual subscription fee will be charged for this.
