THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The body of an elderly man was found in a flooded house in Balanagar in Eenthivilakam. The dead body of Vikraman (67) was found at Ajesh Bhavan, Balanagar, Eenthivilakam. Water had entered the house and its surroundings following the heavy rain the other day. Vikraman's wife and children were at the relative's house at the time of the incident in connection with the relative's marriage.

It was the neighbours who found Vikraman's body yesterday morning when they checked the house. Half of the room where the body was lying was filled with water. After being informed, the Valiyathura police reached the spot and prepared an inquest. The body, which was taken to the Medical College Hospital, was later handed over to the relatives after post-mortem. The preliminary conclusion of the police is that Vikraman may have fallen into the water during his sleep.
