KUNNAMKULAM: Kodakara native Ayyapadas is in high spirits despite this being his first visit to the state school sports meet. However, Ayyapadas is no novice to such events and has acquired rich experience being part of district sports meet and sub-district art festival. This Kodakara native is the main chef of the event and his delectable dishes have already kicked up conversations within the camp.
On Monday, the chairman of the organizing committee, A.C. Moideen MLA lit the stove to officially start the works at the pantry area. Chapatti and Chicken headlined the first day’s culinary list. For the next four days, the kitchen will start working from morning 3 am. Eggs and milk from Kunnamkulam farms will reach the pantry during the same time at early dawn.
Ayyapadas is assisted by more than 40 workers in the kitchen. KSTA, a teacher's association, has taken charge of serving the dishes to the students and others. Under the leadership of KSTA State Officer T K A Shaji, more than 400 teaching faculties have shown their availability to provide service during the event.
