THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President K Sudhakaran criticized the Pinarayi Vijayan government for not preserving the achievements of the Left Front. He made these remarks during his leadership of the UDF Secretariat March. During Oommen Chandy's tenure, key projects like the Kochi Metro and medical colleges were successfully executed. Although Pinarayi Vijayan has held office for two terms and has initiated substantial changes, Sudhakaran emphasized the need for Kerala to assess these achievements.

M.M. Hasan, UDF convener expressed discontent with the government accusing it of breaking promises and betraying the public's trust. He stressed that the Chief Minister and the government are growing increasingly disconnected from the people.

Deputy Leader of the Opposition, P K Kunjalikutty, pointed out that the current Kerala government has not introduced any independent development plans instead giving approval to those initiated by the UDF.

N K Premachandran asserted that the Pinarayi government is tainted by corruption suggesting it operates as a "60 percent commission government." He also questioned why the Chief Minister did not appeal against the verdict concerning the Chief Minister's daughter in a month-long controversy.

Various other leaders including Ramesh Chennithala, ET Muhammad Basheer MP of the Muslim League, C P John of the CMP, Shibu Baby John of the RSP and several MPs and MLAs from different parties voiced their opinions during the event.
