NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India will continue to provide humanitarian aid to Palestine. Speaking to the Palestinian president, Narendra Modi expressed his condolences over the killing of civilians in the hospital in Gaza. Modi expressed concern over the security situation and terrorism in the region. Modi also said that India reiterated its long-standing stand on the Israel-Palestine issue.

Meanwhile, the central government informed that there are currently four Indians in Gaza. Arindam Bagchi, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, said that the situation in Gaza is so bad that these four Indians cannot be evacuated immediately. One of the four Indians is in the West Bank. He said they would be brought home as soon as the situation becomes favourable. The ministry clarified that there is no information about any injuries or loss of life to Indians in Gaza during the Israel-Hamas war. Earlier, a Malayali was injured in Ashkelon.
