KOCHI: Two people were killed after their two-wheeler fell into a river in Manjummal. One of the dead is Kelvin of Puthuvyppu and the other has not been identified. Initial reports said the vehicle may have lost its way and fell into the river. The incident happened last night.

Initially thought that there was only one in the vehicle. Kelvin's body was fished out early this morning. However, the police later got information that there was one more with Kelvin. A search conducted later recovered the body of the second person. Kelvin's family has been informed. Further steps will be taken after their arrival.

Two doctors had died recently when the car they were traveling in plunged into the Periyar river. The dead were Ajmal Asif (28) of Kodungallur Mathilakam Pampinezham and Advaith (28) of Kollam Thattamala Palathara Bodhinagar. Both were doctors of Kodungallur A R Super Specialty Hospital.
