Actor Suresh Gopi has come forward reacting to his son Gokul Suresh's opinion that this society does not deserve a politician like Suresh Gopi. The actor is also a social worker. The actor clarified that Gokul spoke as a son and this is the opinion that comes when many hurl abuses. He said that his wife Radhika also has the same opinion, but neither of them had told him about it till date. He was talking to the media at the press meet of his film 'Garudan'.

‘Gokul has the right to express such an opinion. His mother also has the similar opinion. She has not told this to me or anyone. Ettan works hard, Ettan’s money, Ettan has to decide what has to be done with the money he earns. My duty is to think what should be done to protect his health. Radhika has often said that she is not ready to comment on it. I have heard her saying the same thing to Gokul. That opinion has not reached me. As a son, it is Gokul’s agony. I have told all my children that if they keep a distance from the politician father, none of these problems would arise.
