The Kerala Police have established a dedicated WhatsApp number for reporting such incidents. The State Police Media Center has announced that complaints can be made by sending a message to 9497980900.

This service is for reporting crimes like blackmail, image manipulation, and online financial scams. You can send complaints through photos, videos or voice messages but direct calls are not possible. The State Police Media Center has stated that this system will operate around the clock. If necessary, the police will return calls to gather more information. This service is based at the Police Headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram.
