GAZA: Hamas on Friday claimed that they have freed hostages for the first time since the start of the conflict. Hamas' statement claims that two Americans, mother and daughter, were released on humanitarian grounds.

However, it is not clear when and where they were freed. Neither Israel nor the US has officially responded. Hamas released a video last week showing the release of a woman and two children held captive, but Israel rejected it.
