NAGPUR: A youngster strangled his mother to death after she denied him money to buy a new smartphone. The shocking incident happened in Nagpur on Wednesday. Kamalbhai Badwaik (47) was killed and the police also arrested the accused Ramnath (28).

After strangling his mother to death, Ramnath dialled his brother Deepak and informed him about his mother's sudden health issues. Deepak arrived soon and Kamalbhai Badwaik was shifted to hospital. However, the doctors declared her brought dead. In the meantime, Deepak had a look at the dead body and felt suspicious. He also noticed that all of Kamalabhai's ornaments were missing. After Deepak gave the information, the police came to the hospital and interrogated Ramnath. Midway through the information, Ramnath confessed that he had killed his mother because she did not pay him to buy the phone. The accused was taken into custody by the officials of Hatkeshwar police station.

Meanwhile, in yet another incident, a son killed his father over a trivial issue in Karnataka’s Nangala village. The youngster thrashed his father to death complaining about the sambhar cooked by the latter being too spicy to eat. C K Chittiappa (63), a resident of Nangala village is the deceased.
