Kattalaimalai natives Meenakshi (50) and her daughter Masaani (27), were arrested by Eloor police. The incident took place yesterday morning at around 9 a.m.

The accused attempted to snatch the chain of Sreemulanagaram native Shobhana, who was on her way to visit her grandchild at ESIC Hospital in Udyogamandal. The accused got down from the bus and ran when the passenger shouted. Following this, passengers and locals chased them down and handed them over to the police.
