KOCHI: Two persons were arrested with 8.7 kg of whale vomit (Ambergris) worth Rs 5 crore. KN Vaishakh and N Rahul, natives of Palakkad, were arrested by the DRI-Forest Department team. The incident happened on Saturday midnight. The accused said that they had informed that a client named Vikram would arrive. When the investigation team called Vikram's phone, it was switched off.

Ambergris was given to the accused by a female friend from Chavakkadu. They claim that ambergris was kept by the friend's grandfather, who is a fisherman.
