PARAVUR: After her brother's son destroyed the house, Leela got six cents of land through a special adalat of the Legal Service Authority. Kelsa Executive Chairman and High Court Judge Justice Muhammad Mushtaq and District Legal Service Authority Secretary and Sub-Judge N Ranjith Krishnan had intervened in the issue. They also directed the Taluk Legal Service Committee to submit a report. He spoke to the heirs after finding out that there was seven cents of land in Leela's residence which had been acquired as tenancy rights. He also informed that he is ready to give the land to Leela except one of the seven heirs.

Yesterday, a special court awarded Leela six cents excluding the one cent of land belonging to her brother's son, Ramesh, who demolished the house. Her sister Saraswati and heirs of deceased brothers Shiva, Balan, Parvati and Lakshmi also reached the court and signed the consent form. Special Court sub-judge N Ranjith Krishnan handed over the documents equivalent to a court order was handed over. These documents can be based on Leela's name.
