TEL AVIV: It is reported that more than 2,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone in the last 18 days of the Israel-Gaza war. The report also states that more than 5,000 children were injured. UNICEF has also come forward expressing concern over the death of children. "In the last 18 days, 2360 children have been killed in Gaza. 5364 children were injured. A growing stain on our collective conscience," UNICEF said.

Every day more than 700 people are killed on the battlefield in Gaza. More than 700 people have been killed in Gaza in the past 24 hours, the highest toll in two and a half weeks, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The Gaza Ministry of Health said that 182 children were killed in the Israeli attack in the 24 hours until yesterday morning. On the 7th, Hamas killed more than 1400 Israelis.

Meanwhile, after Hamas released two more women hostages, Israel intensified airstrikes in Gaza. Two elderly Israeli women were released yesterday morning Indian standard time. They have been identified as Yocheved Lifshitz (85) and Narit Cooper (79). Additionally, two American women were also released on Friday.

Lifshitz told the media in Tel Aviv that she suffered at first but was later treated with dignity and was provided food and treatment. They took her away on a bike. In the meantime, she was beaten with a stick and beaten. She also stated that she couldn't breathe throughout the ordeal. Her watch and jewellery were also removed. They also made her walk a few kilometres across the border which led to a tunnel.
