Following the theft of wallets belonging to residents of Kadakkavoor and Chirayinkeezhu, a new modus operandi has been unveiled. After the young women reported the loss of their wallets, authorities reviewed the CCTV footage.

It appears that the thief deliberately selects screenings at less crowded theatres. Upon entering the theatre, he carefully observes the audience and waits for a suitable moment during the movie.

As the audience becomes engrossed in the film, the thief discreetly strips naked, starting with their outer clothing. Subsequently, wearing only their underwear, the thief proceeds to steal purses while on his knees. After obtaining the wallets of unsuspecting victims, he returns to his seat and proceeds to get dressed again. The shocking incident has been captured on camera, including footage of the thief entering the theatre. The police have started an investigation to arrest the suspect.
