CHENNAI: Man who threw petrol bomb in front of the official residence of the Governor in Tamil Nadu was arrested. The arrested man was identified as Karuka Vinod. He was chased and caught immediately by the security personnel when he tried to escape on a bike after hurling a petrol bomb at the Raj Bhavan.
Karuka Vinod, who was arrested, had raised slogans against Governor RN Ravi after throwing petrol bombs. The police said that he was interrogated and he said that he had committed the attack in anger over the governor not signing the anti-NEET bill.
BJP state president K Annamalai said the incident shows the true picture of the legal system in Tamil Nadu. He also alleged that the state is under the control of gangsters.
