LUCKNOW: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 next year. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Temple Trust members met the Prime Minister and invited him to the function. Following this, the Prime Minister shared a post on social media platform X stating that he is feeling blessed that he will be a witness to this historic occasion in his lifetime. He also noted that he accepted the invitation of the Trust and felt fortunate to witness the historic moment.

The trust informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the Prana Pratishma of Lord Rama. Nripendra Misra, chairperson of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, had earlier announced that the ground floor of the three-storey temple complex would be completed by December. The foundation stone laying ceremony of the temple was performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020.

The construction of the temple started after the Supreme Court issued the verdict on the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya in 2019. The court ruled that a Ram temple shall be constructed on the disputed land and instead, five acres of land should be given to the Sunni Waqf Board to build a new mosque.

मैं खुद को बहुत धन्य महसूस कर रहा… pic.twitter.com/rc801AraIn
